By cooperation of Secretariat of Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones, Mohammad Sajjad Siahkarzadeh, chairman of the board of directors and managing director of this organization, on behalf of free zones of our country attended in International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, Russia and expressed competitive advantages of investment in Iranian free zones.

This memorandum was signed by managing director of this organization and association director with aim of facilitating and developing assistance and providing legal and investment advice to businessmen of two countries.

On sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Managing director of this organization and Mohammad Safari, economic deputy of Supreme Council of Free Zones, Alexander Krachenkov, head of the Russian Duma's Industrial Affairs Commission negotiated about following-up of concluded joint memorandums by using capacity of Parliament of Russian Federation and it was decided that Russian government send its official representative to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran for implementation of agreements between two parties.

In programs of high-ranking delegation of Iran's free zones negotiated with Mikhail Labodin, head of Russian Special Zones Logistics Association, about process of performing of memorandums signed with Special Economic Zone of Lotus Astrakhan and Russian investors interested to attendance in Iran's free zones and negotiating with members of Malaysian parliament about use of port, logistics and transit capacities of Anzali Free Zone was among of work plans of Siahkarzadeh on sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

On sidelines of this international event, Siahkarzadeh and Safari visited from available infrastructures of dry warehouses and full mechanized cold stores in St. Petersburg, and discussed with managers of foresaid province about development of logistics cooperation.
