Astrakhan flight stared from Sunday, October 17th
The direct round-trip flight between Rasht and Astrakhan, Russia, will be inaugurated today and one flight will be operated every week,this flight will be done from Rasht to Astrakhan by Raimon Airlines.
In regard to location of Sardar Jangal Airport in Rasht in north-south corridor and strategic location of the airport in Anzali Free Zone, this passenger flight can greatly facilitate trade and commerce.
Rasht Airport has a privileged communication location in terms of being located on the shores of the Caspian Sea and the North-South Corridor route and in third most touristic city of Iran (Rasht); this airport is located seven kilometers from the Rasht-Anzali road and 25 kilometers away from Anzali Free Zone, and its total area reaches 220 hectares; its height is 40 feet below sea water.
