Forouzan announced at meeting of first council of managing directors of free zone organizations;

The Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones, at the first meeting of the Council of Managing Directors of Free Zone Organizations, outlined the Secretariat's five main priorities for the new management period; priorities that begin with transparency and process reform and continue to attract capital, develop financial instruments, and facilitate economic activity in free zones.

Mustafa Taati-Moghaddam, managing director of Anzali Free Zone Organization pointed to importance of the region's position in attracting foreign and domestic investment and stated: "Transparency and speed in registration processes are the main factor of investors' psychological security. The more administrative bureaucracy in this sector is reduced and registration services are provided more accurately and quickly, the more eagerness of economic activists to will double develop projects in this region."

By verdict of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Hossein Forouzan was appointed as Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free Trade, Industrial and Special Economic Zones.

In order to enforcement of the North-South corridor and improving region's logistics fleet;

Anzali Free Zone Organization signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Titan Diesel Company in order to develop commercial and transit infrastructure of north of country. This agreement focus on modernizing of transportation fleet and improving logistics capacity of region that provides basis for optimal utilization of capacities of the Caspian Port.

Taati Moghadam's emphasis on development of comprehensive cooperation between Anzali Free Zone and Russia;

Sergei Azarov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Gilan Province, met with Mustafa Taeti Moghaddam, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Anzali Free Zone Organization, to discuss strategies for developing economic, trade, transportation, tourism, and cultural relations between the two sides.
