Statistics shows that the economic engine of free zones has warmed up and has started to accelerate. An agreement was signed between Anzali Free Trade and Industrial Zone Organization and Gilan Province Customs and Supervision Headquarters by Mostafa Taati-Moghaddam and Sadegh Barzegar, which aims to improve level of customs services, facilitate trade processes, and strengthen infrastructure for import and export goods, passengers and vehicles within the Anzali Free Zone, Reported Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Anzali Free Zone Organization.

This organization has an active and purposeful presence at "Kish Expo 2025" international exhibition with aim of introducing its capacities, capabilities and investment packages as one of the most important economic gatherings of country, plays an effective role in developing Iran's trade and investment interactions with regional and international markets, reported public relations and international affairs department of Anzali free zone organization.

In meeting between the Armenian Ambassador and the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free Zones

Grigor Hakobyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in Iran met with Reza Masrour, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones and negotiated about development of bilateral cooperation and increase of economic, trade and investment relations between two countries.
