The Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones announced that owners of vehicles with free zone license plates can apply for national license plates by paying customs duties, approved commercial profits and other legal costs can travel on  mainland through statistical registration.

The possibility of receiving national license plates for these cars will not only increase public satisfaction, but also help the government increase customs revenues, value-added tax, and costs related to numbering.
